Abstract: | We demonstrate that Big-Five personality traits are stable for working-age adults over a four-year period. Mean population changes are small and constant across age groups. Intra-individual changes are generally unrelated to adverse life events and are not economically meaningful. | DOI: | 10.1016/j.econlet.2011.11.015 | URL: | https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0165176511004666 | Keywords: | Life Events; Beliefs and Values -- Personality | Research collection: | Journal Articles |
