Abstract
This document features slides from a presentation on the factors influencing child support compliance. The authors use data from waves 1 and 2 of 'Growing Up in Australia: the Longitudinal Study of Australian Children' (LSAC), to examine the effects of parent child contact, parental conflict, and level of consultation with non-residential parent, and to propose a model of factors influencing compliance with child support obligations. The presentation features slides outlining the research results, changes in variables over time, and hypothesised causal paths.
